On Saturday the 4th of November 2006 a reunion was held at the school site, to commemorate the 'New School' reaching 50 years of age. The event was well received by those that did attend and largely free access was allowed to wander the school and grounds. The highlight for many, was the chance to try again those wonderful school dinners.

Deputy Head Michael Tucker, took the opportunity to launch a new ‘Elliottonian Association’ to take over from the long standing ‘Old Elliottonians’. Supporters for this project are being sought and should contact Michael  michaeltuckeratwork@hotmail.co.uk 

The film, ‘Elliott Remembers’ was shown for the first time, after the moving Remembrance Ceremony. This DVD is now available to purchase from the school and records the experiences of those former Elliott students, who were effected by the Second World War
