On Thursday the 18th of January the School had to be vacated, as a result of the dangerous weather conditions. A number of windows were blow in and sections of scaffolding (been used by building contractors) were seen to be "flying about".

The head gave the order to abandon the building at 13:30 and the site was efficiently cleared. It is believed that no one was harmed either during the storm, or the evacuation

The School will remain closed while Safety Inspectors examine the structure. It is hoped to reopen on Monday the 22nd
